Great book. I now have all of McMillan's books and love all of them. If any new ones are written, I will buy them, too.

I read this book again after 13 years and guess what? I held my breath from the beginning to the end and let it out at the end. It is funny, well written and it is real. Terry has this way of describing life as a single woman with anecdotes that you can relate to no matter your age. I laughed out loud. I scribbled quotable phrases. I whipped out my handkerchief. I enjoyed the book. A wonderful tale of getting to love and finding oneself. It is a must read for every woman who has asked why she is not yet found the right man and for those who have to remind them of what they got.

Excellent excellent a must read

Will read other books by this author.

I've watched the movie a million times but reading it in book form is very refreshing.

I think it's a masterpiece of describing the inner thoughts, intentions, and feelings of the main characters. I didn't read the book completely because it became a little predictable, but still the dialogue was captivating. Beautifully written.

Dancing Lion
Sure am glad I got this book. I've seen the movie so many times, but I never read the book. Of course the book is much different from what's in the movie. But the book gives a more in-depth story on the 4 main characters: Savannah, Bernadine, Robin, & Gloria as well as other characters that were mentioned in the movie. Anyway, this really is a good book. So glad I bought it!

This book is a classic and probably the grandmother of all chick-lit if you really think about it. I read this as a teen and again ss an adult and the plot, which revolves around these headstrong sisters, still jumped off the pages for me. Too bad Hollywood never adapted this to a series.
